Volunteer Resource Center

The Foundation is the fiduciary for the Refugio County VRC. Through this partnership 380+ homes have been improved, repaired, or rebuilt totaling over $10,000,000.

Nature-Based Solutions

The County was awarded $100,000 for a planning grant through the National Academies of Sciences’ Gulf Research Program to develop a Nature-Based Solutions project to mitigate climate change.
